Art & Art History
Catalog of an exhibition held 21 January - 26 February 2000.
Senior Exhibit, Fine Arts Department, Professor Peter M. Lukehart, Dickinson College.
[Richard] Brettell contends that museums should follow the example of our best libraries and collect everything rather than to impose preordained personal or cultural standards of selection on the material. The members of the senior art-historical methods seminar agreed with Brettell’s revisionist ideology, choosing to research and catalogue lesser known, but no less interesting, three dimensional works from the permanent collection.
